Please save the date for the 2026 San Miguel Watershed Forum on October 20 at the Telluride Science and Innovation Center. This year's theme is Increasing Capacity for Water Projects.
The morning session will feature a watershed update from SMWC Executive Director Adrian Bergere, followed by a San Miguel Watershed Coalition Board Panel and presentations from three guest speakers — Greg Peterson of the Colorado Ag Water Alliance, Carrie Padgett from the Infrastructure & Conservation Partnership, and Candy Meehan, Norwood Mayor and representative of the Wrights Mesa Water Coalition — capped off with a facilitated funding workshop.
After a catered lunch, the afternoon will shift into a stakeholder committee meeting with round-robin updates, and a summary of the morning's funding workshop findings.
